Lightroom workshop

A two day intensive workshop on using Adobe Lightroom 3 for digital photographers. Be guided through the steps of setting up your image library, cataloguing, locating images, image correction, print and outputting files.

Learning Outcomes (by the end of the course you will be able to):

  • Establish a lightroom catalogue
  • Set up own metadata – adding personal data to image files
  • Keywords for ease of locating images
  • Back up files for archival permanence
  • Sort images into collections
  • Develop images
  • Set black and white points

  • Correct red eye
  • Remove sensor spots / dust spots
  • Control neutral density filter
  • Make your own presets
  • Manage colours / colour temprature / colour space
  • Convert to black and white
  • Resize images
  • Export for the web
  • Print images directly from Lightroom

Required: you will need to bring your own laptop or desk top computer with lightroom already loaded (this can be a trial version as long as it is still valid)
